THE STORY

Kelly Design is a family run business with years of experience in transforming people’s homes with our custom made furniture. We set ourselves apart because of the unique and vast experience we bring to our clients.

 

Shane Kelly and Muireann Howley studied Interior Design together. Shane went on to start up Kelly Design in Dalkey with his Father in 1995, it is a third generation family business in the village. Shane built up the business, largely through recommendations and work from Interior Designers and Architects. Muireann spent the next nine years designing high end furniture including managing a German Kitchen Showroom.

 

In 2005, Shane took over the family business, extended the showroom and Muireann joined the team. We now pride ourselves on having one of the best design studios in the country. Offering our clients fine bespoke furniture to maximise their storage requirements, with ergonomic designs to suit every space and specific storage needs.

 

We have a sample of Kitchens, Bedrooms, Studies and Alcove Units on display, with a selection of Sample Doors, Worktop Surfaces and and Handles. Our range of finishes include Primed, Painted, Veneered and Hardwood.

 

As a small family business, our priority is to provide our clients with product knowledge, the best design for their space and quality Custom Made Furniture. We are passionate about giving value for money and an efficient service. We are delighted to design to a budget. We work with a team of plumbers, electricians, painters and tilers. They are all trades people we have worked with for a numbers of years and are happy to co-ordinate them to work alongside us, when necessary.
